ABOUT US<\/h2>

Barnstable Speaks is an independent, community supported, grassroots organization, formed in September 2023. Our group was started by a small group of concerned citizens who came together to fight a proposed offshore wind farm from landing its high-voltage electric cables under beautiful Craigville Beach and the Centerville River, down our historic village Main Street and under the roads of our residential neighborhoods and commercial areas in the Village Centerville, Cape Cod. Our work began and continues as a voice for the citizens of Centerville and the surrounding villages of Barnstable.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
